I have worked in the IT industry since leaving school in 1979. Firstly working on large mainframe equipment and then moving to PC based systems. Twenty years ago, two of my brothers and I set up React Computer Partnership. React provides IT systems aimed at helping companies become more profitable and productive.Initially, our primary goal was to offer clients a high level of service and the best advice possible and that’s still true today, however the technology available to us now is far superior to that on offer when we started so we can also now make a real difference to the way a company works.I have extensive experience of many aspects of IT infrastructure and this has taught me that businesses are now, more than ever completely reliant on their infrastructure. So, when designing a system we take great care to ensure it is robust and wherever possible any single point of failure is eliminated. With the progression of cloud services, which can offer great benefits it is important to ensure the local infrastructure is still fit for purpose. There are many vendors whose products can offer a solution, but we have identified a core that we know well and that we can call on to provide a secure a robust platform to meet the needs of most organisations.This is backed up with a support service that uses ITIL to make sure it is aligned to the business needs, ensuring the issues that have the biggest impact are given the highest priority. It also ensures everything we do is measured, and we are proud to say nearly 99% of all our calls are closed within set target. Our company has an excellent track record of maintaining clients. We have clients who have been with us since our first year of trading and even more who we have worked with for many years: Dennys Bros Printing, East Anglian Air Ambulance, The Jewish Museum and BSP International to name a few.
