Richard Sullivan

I am a blaster with 30+ years' of practical experience who is truly independent. I work with mining companies, contractors and suppliers, large and small. I can help with blast design work, improving fragmentation, blasting near sensitive sites, undertake site reviews, misfire investigations, development of vibration site laws, assistance with wall control programs, testing of existing and new explosives, writing/reviewing procedures and management plans; any project work short or long. I work closely with Drew Martin and Bruce Lee from Blast It Global to develop training materials and deliver classroom and site training for Shotfirers, Blast Designers, Engineers and site staff. As a consultant the roles I take on include site Drill and Blast audits, developing programs and parameters for blasting near Heritage Caves, providing advice for product issues with explosives, supplying initiation sequences for electronic detonators, and filling short term roles as the site D&B Engineer. I am the Director of my own company, Sedna D&B, and I can travel to wherever you need my help.
