We develop custom control solutions for municipal water and waste water treatment facilities. Our primary focus is providing the right interface to the human team that operates the process. With better information delivered when and where they want it, operators can make the right decisions. The motors that provide pumping, mixing and aeration are some of the largest municipal energy users. Many facilities built 10-20 years ago can benefit from significantly better process control and energy savings by adding improved instrumentation and variable frequency drives (VFDs). These changes can be made without increasing the facility footprint or long construction cycles. The EPA and state regulatory agencies continue to challenge us to improve water quality. New technology has made monitoring data with process automation controllers (PAC) and networking that information back to SCADA more cost effective. Working with operators and regulatory agencies, we can refine existing processes to meet today's more stringent standards.
