Richard Wall, Ph. D.

I'm an experienced programmer, research scientist, and data analyst, with a focus on elementary particle physics. I started my research career in 2006, as a member of the ATLAS collaboration, and haven't looked back since. I have extensive experience in hypothesis testing, analyzing data collected by state-of-the-art particle physics detectors for interesting, publication-worthy measurements of top-quark and later dark matter physics models. This work involves extensive programming in C++ and Python to construct and run analysis frameworks on TB-sized, noise-dominated data sets. I also have experience designing, constructing, and operating particle physics detectors, including special knowledge of high voltage electrodes, liquid Xenon time projection chambers, and high energy particle physics tracking chambers.
