As a hand-on leader with a stellar career in education. I believe my broad diverse background in education and administration is a perfect fit for any educational setting. I’m an American citizen married to a wonderful Jordanian woman. I have a valid 5 year Principal’s license and have applied for a Texas certification (TEA # 2235548). I am a member of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA), Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO). Since Mid-December my family has been in the North Dallas area and now, we want to make this area our home. I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with several startup projects both as a consultant and school administrator. Working with designers, architects, and school staff to build sports facilities, entire schools, and universities, you get a real clear idea of quality schools. My passion for "Making a Difference" is a trade mark that I used throughout my career. The following are a few of my skill sets which I believe makes me a very strong and effective leader: • Understand the power of collaboration and value corporate networking. • Respect the responsibility of school governance. • I’m a doer…working with a vision/mission and seeing it through to reality. • Having good organizational skills. • Believing in effective professional development. • Having experience in developing effective long & short-term strategic planning. • Having developed and executed successful business plans. • I was responsible for the design, planning, construction and project management of seven separate building projects and several capital projects. • Value the power of public relations (both internally and externally). • Last but not least…I operate from basic ethical principles of honesty, respect, integrity, empathy, and transparency.
