Rick Jacobs

Rick Jacobs is professor of psychology at Penn State University, formerly CEO of EB Jacobs a consulting firm specializing in public sector employee assessment. PSI purchased EB Jacobs and Dr. Jacobs now serves as a Senior Vice President for PSI as well as a member of the Science Advisory Board. He has spent the past 39 years in State College, Pennsylvania teaching, conducting research, and running consulting organizations that provide services nationwide. He has won prestigious awards for his research on cost benefit analysis of HR programs, the measurement of experience, and understanding performance over time. He consults with private sector organizations, police and fire departments across the country and provides expert testimony on issues of selection and adverse impact. His passions include his wife, his children, his grandchildren, skiing, biking, fishing, banjos, watches, and Groucho Marx memorabilia. Specialties: Assessment and Selection
