Rick Jones

Since 1982, Mr. Jones has gained over 36 years of experience in the management of Network infrastructure and Integration projects in support of government and Commercial clients. In 1997 Mr. Jones created a new division within American Systems called National Services. Mr. Jones also created and maintains American Systems Partnership Program where he identified and qualified cabling companies that support American Systems national customers. This single initiative doubled his Division’s annual revenue in less than one year. Additionally, Mr. Jones manages American Systems 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse and integration facility. In 2017 Mr. Jones won over $101M in Air Force contracts. Additionally Mr. Jones assumed the management of his divisions Managed Services Directorate in addition to the continued management of the National Services Directorate. Executive Director & Vice President, National Services Oversees, directs and trains project managers in the installation of communications systems in support of various large government programs and a multitude of various one-time government and commercial clientele. Performs complex facility surveys and specifies network design for the development of major proposals and pricing efforts. Monitors and ensures compliance with program milestone dates and approved costing methods. Accountable for yearly revenue goals of $40M+ and profit margins and participates in business direction decisions. Recommends, determines and implements administrative changes to enhance the workplace and motivate personnel. Administrative duties include performance reviews, salary recommendations, and bid and purchase approvals.
