Rio-Raquel Ramsey

I am a hospitality professional with more than 10 years’ experience in all aspects of the industry, including front of house supervisor through to waitressing and bar management. I am currently looking for a new role and would like you to consider me for any assignments you may be handling, where my background, skills and experience would fit. I have perfected my skill in a variety of environments and in particular excel in fast paced, sometimes challenging settings that require me to work hard and give me the opportunity to succeed, especially when under pressure. I am an excellent communicator and quickly build rapport with both colleagues and customers and in particular I am able to instinctively understand customers’ needs and deliver to their requirements. I can work independently or as part of a team and have a passion for ensuring the service delivered is always as perfect as it can be. My most recent role, whilst in a sales environment, was a good learning experience. Not only did I gain new customer facing, administrative and management skills, it taught me that my ‘heart’ and expertise lie in hospitality. I am looking for a position that will allow me to build upon my already extensive skill, knowledge and experience and in particular a role that will allow me to progress. I have a keen interest in the events industry and would ideally like to extend my range and move into events management. Therefore, I would be interested in anything that would allow me to take a step towards furthering this ambition.
