• Managing and administering multiple projects from inception to completion. • Design, build and installation of LV/HV equipment upto 33kV • Complete contract sum analysis, producing cost forecasts and breakdowns • Management of the sub contract supply chain inclusive of all procurement • Negotiating with suppliers and specialists to achieve “best value” for both services and materials • The assessment/implementation and then letting of sub contract packages with the extraction and insertion of main contracts terms and conditions • Carrying out value engineering exercises to ascertain possible alternative solutions • Analysis of drawings and specifications to determine sequence and methods of operation • Producing method statements, risk assessments and implementing all other aspects of Health & Safety as required • Preparation of cost plans and or Quantified Schedules Of Rates • Completion of every project, delivering to a high quality, on time and within budget • Assisting on Design requirements of projects including all specialists elements • Attending commercial meetings with both the client , architect and sub contractors • Carrying out general quantity surveying tasks • Programming of works and maintaining deadlines inclusive of administering programmes specifically • Processing and monitoring of orders • Heading up final account negotiations • Liaising with different specialist / disciplines to maintain correct coordination of all works • Implementation of installation works to current statutory standards • Designing projects, managing and coordinating the design process and working closely with the design consultants • Meeting the clients needs and carrying out all aftercare services for the defects liability period • Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner and to a high standard • Liaising with the professional team and client • Producing working drawings and O & M manuals inclusive of all hand over documents
