About
I am a biological engineer working to advance high-throughput biological engineering for rapid optimization of complex gene clusters and dynamical systems in microbes through pooled genomic library assembly, high-throughput sequencing and variant scoring. I utilize machine learning algorithms to predict optimal genotypes using limited phenotype data measured from large, defined mutant libraries and develop technologies to track fitness for individual genotypes within large mutant libraries and to isolate individual variants for deployment in complex environments ranging from the industrial bioreactor to the plant rhizosphere to the mammalian gut.
