Rob Whitworth, P.E.

I've worked in the Electric Utility Industry since 2003 in a variety of roles. I have experience with line design up to 69kV, distribution planning, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), distribution automation, distributed generation, distribution relays, as well as capacitor, regulator, and electronic recloser controls. My current position is Manager of Asset Management. In this role I manage Indiana Distribution Capacity Planning within Asset Management. We work to ensure our distribution grid is ready for any future growth, is capable of supporting technologies that allow for grid optimization, and is able to support distributed energy resources. I enjoy working with and implementing new technology in the electric utility industry. This new technology improves the reliability and sustainability of our grid and provides a positive impact to our customers.
