Robert Bielecki

With 22 years of experience in IT and as a former teacher at CNAM and IBM, I have a strong experience in PKI, object-oriented design, architecture of both functional and technical applications and J2EE technologies. In his career, I have worked in a wide range of sectors such as: industry, education, banking and administration. I was also involved in various types of projects such as with teams based in different locations and I even managed outsourcing projects in India. In 2012, I started the work on the SD-DSS project for the European Commission. SD-DSS project is an Open Source Java library allowing creation and validation of any type of digital signature: XAdES, CAdES, PAdES and ASiC. I acquired an extensive knowledge of the standards, the basis of the digital trust. I’m engaged in ETSI workshops to help to improve the standards. My current professional responsibilities lead me to travel frequently on the continent, giving me a good vision and knowledge of the digital trust across the European Union. Today I'm actively involved in numerous conferences in Member States like Germany, Denmark, France, Estonia and Poland, giving me the opportunity to promote the concepts and technologies related to digital trust. I am also stepping into the work of ETSI standardization of the emerging field of quantum cryptography.
