Senior Structural Designer with over 15 years experience as designer, checker, and lead in the Oil and Gas, Marine Pulp and Paper, and Hydroelectric environments. Responsible for designing, modelling, checking, and supevising concrete, steel, and piling for large engineering projects. Structural Steel Knowledge: independently detailed the Nanaimo Harbor Ferry Terminal. Created computer steel detailing screen template package called “Quick Picks” that sold to the Canadian Armed Forces. Hydroelectric experience: produced engineering proposal for 600 million kilowatt-hours hydroelectric project: including forty submersible turbines and two innovative, zero-fish-loss fish ways.
