Bloomberg's Asia regional leader for markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and India. Bloomberg L.P. Is a dynamic, transformative global technology, media and financial data company founded by former New York City Mayor and philanthropist, Michael Bloomberg. Based in Hong Kong for more than a decade, I have accumulated a strong understanding of complex cultural and business communications nuances that are currently evolving in the Greater China region. Working within one of Asia’s largest financial news and television organisations has also given me rare and valuable insights on world-class story development, pitching and audience outreach. Currently, I support my markets' many external and internal communications needs across all of Bloomberg’s business lines, with a focus on maintaining the reputation of its financial products, news and media divisions. I also lead its key diversity efforts in Asia, primarily through the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-side Network (BWBN), which aims to further the social purpose of the industry by convening very senior and influential buy-side female practitioners. In addition, I was seconded to directly support a Bloomberg Philanthropies funded organization, C40 Cities, with its communications activities in China and the region. C40 Cities is a London-based climate leadership group founded by President Bill Clinton, connecting more than 97 world cities and mayors to fight climate change and improve the health and well-being of its urban citizens. Prior to joining Bloomberg, I worked for several financial, investor relations and public affairs agencies in Hong Kong and London, including Kreab, where I oversaw its financial and technology clients in Asia, comprising of major international asset managers, hedge funds, exchanges and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to that, I was in London supporting small to mid-sized publicly listed companies. I hold a BA in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I have also studied at Beijing’s Language and Cultural University and London Business School.
