First and always, I am a Marine Veteran. I have successfully and honorably completed 8 years of outstanding service in which I have received many personal awards highest being the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. I was an Advisor to the Comptroller as my most recent assignment. Previous responsibility was as the Section Head of the Defense Travel Operations Center. I am highly proficient in financial accounting, recording, filing, validation, and maintaining of records. I am knowledgeable in congressional fiscal law as well. I have always demanded perfection, allowed excellence, but at a minimum accepted outstanding performance in my work. I also expect the same out of my peers and subordinates. Demanding perfection sets the bar higher than demanding greatness or outstanding performance. Understanding that nothing will be perfect, this will allow work to be completed at above average caliber and above average attention to detail. My worth and value are limitless. I am quickly proficient in almost all tasks. I learn from my mistakes quickly. I am confident; yet do not hesitate to ask for guidance and supervision. My motivation is contagious and often sought out by my leaders and mentees. Today, my team and I are uniquely positioned to engage with Veteran Owned and family held businesses. We are experts in the business owner space as well as key employee retention planning. We pride ourselves in always giving back to the first responder community and Veteran Service Organizations.
