I have worked for 5 years doing Military/Government Contracting, preceded by 2 years commercial work. I went from being an ADPE Technician in Qatar to being the Network Administrator for our detachment in 8 months. I then transitioned to the Stuttgart AOR in Germany where I was part of their NETMOD-C migration, this position also helped me familiarize myself with the standards for the Communication Closets as our project took ownership. Looking to further expand my skills I went to work for the Proactive Analysis Quick Reaction (PAQR) team at NETCOM. We were tasked with monitoring the Army’s networks for abnormalities and assisting with baselining network metrics for the JRSS migration. I was reached out to by the US Army Corps of Engineers to be a Network Engineer. This was a fantastic opportunity for me to work with Layer 3 and higher tiers of troubleshooting. On the NOC team there I took ownership over queue management, breaches (Brought from 30%+ to 0% and 4% average), and escalations for the NOC, and the ANSS project which impacted all USACE District offices.
