I’m an accomplished Management Accountant with a progressive track record of achievement in a range of finance roles. I’m passionate about what I do; driving improvements in process and performance, experienced in leading small teams and I offer experience operating as a sole Accountant and Group Accounting roles, ranging from small Independent organisations to the larger PLC’s. I have a sound commercial awareness and an inquisitive, determined nature; I love to solve complex accounting problems, often resolving significant business-affecting issues resulting in efficiencies or cost savings. Demonstrating drive, energy and personal credibility, I show real attention to detail in all my work. A strong team player, I communicate well and feel confident making recommendations to leadership where I see room for improvement or changes which need to be made – I’m also good at performing under pressure and hitting deadlines. I enjoy putting my experience of managing and mentoring small teams to good use by sharing knowledge and best practice. Systems-savvy; I’ve worked with a variety of different industry accounting tools and have strong IT & administration skills with expertise in Excel in particular.
