Personal Profile • An extensive maintence and operations background spanning 20 years. • Initial experience in machinery operations and metal trades has lead to working now in process operations within the refinery/mining industry. • The last seven years of my career has been centered on production, process control and optimization with a strong focus on workplace health and safety. • Always striving to advance my knowledge and understanding of process and production. Have recently completed Certificate IV in OHS and Certificate III in Process Plant Operations. Professional Profile • Currently employed as Central Control Room Officer Rio Tinto Alcan Gove Alumina Refinery, Nhulunbuy NT. • A team player with a strong focus on personal improvement which has seen me progress from Refinery Operator to Central Control Room Officer- which is a key position within the organisation working across operations, maintence and technical service teams. • Totally results driven and focused on plant optimization to achieve the required targets and goals to produce a world class product. • With complete understanding of the Bayer process and working in operations, a range of skills were required from HEC control, permit writing and co-ordination of workgroups. • Strong leadership skills and have taken on leadership roles with my positions such as Safety Representative and Emergency Response Team roles and have received substantial training within these areas. • Committed to continuous improvement and enjoy problems solving in a team environment.
