The dynamics of todays technology is unprecedented and requires a team of dedicated technical staff to entertain and evaluate new solutions constantly. And with a diverse fleet such as NYC, there is no Silver Bullet.. And although Hybrid and Plug in electric seem to dominate the >8500lb class, the Medium and Heavy Duty markets are still in flux .. Stay tuned.... 3/11/2016- on the Heavy Duty side, we have been experimenting with Stop/Start technology which in a Refuse truck duty cycle seems to provide substantial fuel/GHG savings.. It is retrofittable and relatively light weight as compared to other Hybrid solutions we've tested.. Stay tuned.
