I am accountable for developing and executing insight led marketing strategies to drive business growth throughout the sub-Saharan Africa Region. In addition, my role focuses on individually localising, by country, global marketing campaigns. Brand maintenance, in established markets, and bringing the brands into new markets forms the basis of my daily operations. To complement the business strategies, the following elements are managed by myself; Point of Sale expansion, BTL Activities, OOH Management and I continually manage the embracing of digitisation within the awareness, transaction and CRM aspects of the brands. Marketing within such a diverse region, has led me to develop a very collaborative and cooperative style of operating. I also approach projects from different perspectives while maintaining flexibility in the face of emerging and changing requirements. This style of working has led to be being able to manage teams across various countries.
