As a Full Stack Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, emphasizing Human Perception and Cognition, I bring over 15 years of cross-industrial experience to the table. My passion lies in challenging myself and continuously expanding my horizons on both personal and professional fronts. Over my career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various countries, including Costa Rica, Italy, The Netherlands, and the United States. My roles have ranged from leading software development projects in finance, healthcare, AI, education, retail, and advertising, to serving as a board member at a sustainable cosmetics company. This has honed my adaptability and strengthened my ability to drive results in diverse settings. I am recognized for my robust work ethic, pragmatic and value-driven decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. My empathetic communication style and leadership skills have been integral to my role as a mentor and a lead engineer, while my strategic insights have been crucial to steering business strategy in a directorial capacity. My competencies span all stages of the software development life cycle, from planning and requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance. I've also successfully piloted advanced technologies and frameworks, navigated DevOps and automation, and overseen critical aspects like security and incident management.
