I am back to Brazil after a wonderful journey of 6 years abroad, between Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, when I learned from working with different cultures and backgrounds, supporting more than 90 countries. I am currently leading HR for IBM Consulting in Latin America. My career began in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1996 as an Intern for Compensation in IBM Brazil. I held several roles in Compensation from 1996 to 2003. I took the HR Transition Manager role in Sao Paulo, Brazil, covering Outsourcing, Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures. Later, I held the position of HR Engagement Consultant for Outsourcing, Acquisitions and Divestitures deals, for Brazil and Latin America, when I developed the people solution for engagements and managing HR processes related to those projects in 2006. I took the role of HR Business Partner for Software Group in Latin America and Brazil, and managed an organization with 50 managers and executives plus 400 employees, in 2008. I then managed the HR Business Development team in Brazil, responsible for all deals related to M&A, Divestitures and Outsourcing projects. I led the Brazilian Talent Acquisition team, an organization with a total of 70 employees in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 2012 to 2014. Moved to Dubai in mid-2014 to lead the HR Business Development Team for Middle East & Africa and also the HRBD CoE Leader, WW, a cross-country organization in charge of Outsourcing, Acquisitions and Divestitures related to Human Resources aspects of those deals, for a region with +50 countries and also led the Center of Excellence, which supported the backbone of HRBD Operations. Later on, I moved to Singapore in 2017, when managed in HRBD the ASEAN Team, and a Deal Coach for HR related aspects to Outsourcing projects in Africa, Asia and Oceania. I came back to Brazil during mid-2020 to lead for HR the spin off of Infrastructure Services (“Kyndryl”), the company that will be created following the separation of IBM’s Managed Infrastructure Services business.
