Throughout my career as a Project and Proposal Manager, I have been a motivated and passionate individual in the workplace, functioning as a team leader to successfully deliver products and solutions on time, within cost, and of the highest quality. My ability to build strong, cohesive and dedicated teams exemplifies my results oriented leadership style. Employers in the past have recognized my timely decision-making abilities and challenged me with leading their larger and most visible contracts. Past experience as a project manager has required excellent communication and people skills, working daily with senior leadership, customers, developers, functional managers, and human resources. I managed several firm fixed priced projects using various software development life cycle methodologies, to include waterfall, spiral-evolutionary, and more recently Agile-Scrum. Earned value management metrics were tracked monthly in additional to several other product and process oriented measurements.My experience supporting new business development opportunities has allowed me to assist with winning competitive procurements and several expansions into new and adjacent markets. These winning proposals which I supported ranged from $2.5M to $500M in products and services. One of the main reasons for this success is an ability to implement a phased approach towards the proposal process that includes training the proposal team up front on the process and then facilitating it through all phases and associated decision gates. During these new business captures, I have provided communications, through the writings and stand up presentations, with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Other specialties include process improvement, financial planning and forecasting, risk assessment, engineering management, production management, and quality assurance.
