Ronnie Fang

I graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Science degree in Sustainability Management. Through course projects (producing a sustainability report based on the GRI standard, developing a measurement tool for a circular business, formulating a sustainable water management plan, etc.) and courses such as LCA, energy efficiency analysis, sustainability metrics, and solar project development, I'm further developing skills and experience about sustainable development strategy for the private sector. Meanwhile, with my background of studying at the University of Washington with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Material Science and Engineering, I have developed more and more interest in sustainable material management. While I was working at Waste Management, I was able to further develop and gain practical experience in this field via working with the local municipality, community organization, multifamily properties, and different sectors of private businesses. It has enabled me to gain the experience of "meeting clients where they are, and finding the best solutions to fit them the most". Together, I'm hoping to bring more businesses into the world of sustainability via supply chain management and operations.
