I have laid the groundwork for enterprise-wide change. With my 20 years plus of nursing experience, I manage teams to improve methods and practices of medicine and nursing. I am a qualified communicator with knowledge of transformative projects in patient care, data analysis, and patient. My competence with process improvement, quality improvement, and utilization review has optimized patient care. My track record of introducing change and data capture programs with feedback loops has resulted in the retention of four million dollars of performance management payments. My deep understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations resulted in an ability to tailor actions for these payers; therefore, I disputed denials and ensured treatments were reimbursed rather than denied.Previously, I helped map electronic medical records information to streamline reporting to the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid, increasing time savings by more than 50 percent. I have served as a Continuing Education Officer for Nursing and participated on the Committee for Continuing Education for Physicians. I have worked with a Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and multidisciplinary teams using the Delphi method to reach consensus. I have published articles and handbooks.My condominium community elected me to the Board of my Condominium Association three times for three, two-year terms at home. During my second term, I was President of the Association during Covid-19 and had to take the unprecedented steps of not opening our swimming pool. I managed $35 thousand in damages caused by a derecho wind event.
