Rui Zhong

I am a goal-driven research specialist in International Economics, Security and program support professional that synthesizes quantitative and qualitative research strategies to write, communicate and facilitate projects in nonprofit and public organizations. I specialize in analyzing political and socioeconomic trends in China, Japan and Southeast Asia. Previously, I monitored and reported on security developments in the South China Sea, environmental issues, and Chinese financial reforms at Asia Society. I have also interned at the Wilson Center, where I built profiles of cultural and economic exchanges between Chinese provinces and American States using numerous open-source resources. My international experiences include research on Trade regulations and federal intellectual property infraction investigations while working at a patent law firm in Beijing.
