Russell Davison

I’m passionate about business and I like to motivate and energise clients. I work with solo entrepreneurs and clients having 300 employees. Working in both the UK and other European countries, I have real enthusiasm for coaching people who are serious about change, in personal and commercial contexts. My strengths are attributed to my engineering training and project management experience, gained in previous roles. I started my professional career as an engineer in the energy industry. BUSINESS COACHING I’ve lectured at Calderdale College, Salford University, and have spoken at numerous industry conferences during my varied career. Having a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree (MBA) in business administration, I was also awarded chartered engineer status (CEng). I have experience in working with businesses from a wide range of industries including automotive, ceramics, defence, energy, engineering, and manufacturing. I coach in; entrepreneurship, the opportunity, the founders, resource requirements, financing entrepreneurial ventures, start-up and after, innovation, creativity, marketing, pricing, financial statements, budgeting, break-even analysis, ratio analysis, and managing operations. BUSINESS CONSULTING My professional experience in technical leadership and commercial management has been developed within blue-chip corporations over 15+ years (including: Atlas Copco, British Aerospace, General Motors, and Rolls-Royce). I consult in; plant engineering (blower, desuperheater, fan, instrumentation, valve, motor, and pump sizing and selection). I also conduct product design for manufacture studies and business development projects within Europe. Originally from England, I’ve been an expatriate for a couple of decades living in the US, India, Singapore, Aquitaine, and now Alsace. Married and a proud father, when time allows, I enjoy playing the electric guitar. I also enjoy cycling and hiking in our Alsace countryside.
