Ruth Roper

Ruth is VP, New Ventures and Medical Applications. She is charged with identifying new growth opportunities as well as overseeing legacy Sealed Air's existing Medical Applications business and other existing ventures. Ruth has been an integral part of Sealed Air's success for more than 25 years and was most recently President, Specialty Materials. In this role, she helped to strategically focus the company on new markets, such as alternative energy. She also oversaw our Medical Packaging business and Sealed Air support services, including our North American Customer Service Center. Ruth has worked in manufacturing, marketing and IS both in the U.S. and Europe. She has been responsible for the implementation of SAP, the launch of our Customer Contact Center in North America and the marketing of our vertical pouch packaging, packaging equipment systems, and fresh produce packaging. Ruth brings a broad range of skills to her new position and has proven time and time again to be one of our company's most versatile leaders.
