I help clean technology businesses to thrive and scale. Using my extensive experience in electric, hybrid and fuel cell vehicle (xEV) powertrains, business strategy development and operations to unlock enterprise value. My experience includes high performance electric motors, eDrive systems, power electronics, battery systems, electrified ancillaries and sensor technology. I have founded and led technology businesses through the challenging start-up and scale-up phases, led successful turnarounds of technology businesses and managed acquisitions of business units from major global corporates and also the exit of several businesses. Bringing a wealth of experience to draw on of the right (and wrong!) way to do things.I am a hands on change agent and experienced in the deployment of lean and agile tools, I believe that the structure they bring to an organisation can be an agent for innovation as well as productivity.I enjoy working internationally, having built relationships with customers and suppliers around the globe including China, S. Korea and the USA. I have a passion for learning, continuous improvement and building high performing teams, helping those around me be the best that they can be. I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE and a Chartered member of the CMI. I have worked across a range of industries including Energy, Powergen, Rotating Machinery, Chemical Process, Aerospace, Defence and Electronics. But I am particularly known for my work in Automotive electrification. Because of this varied and demanding background I have become a multi disciplinary problem solver with the ability to work effectively across all areas of a business.
