Ryan Rutkin

I am a highly motivated, very opinionated Application Development Engineer for a hot new startup out of the heart of Chicago. I'm an influential part of the most talented team of individuals I have ever come across. I've professionally played a primary role in the development of eight web-based applications, with my current application being the fifth customer facing (and most impressive) application of them all. Through each position, I have been highly revered for my responsiveness to implementing new features with or without strong guidance from business. I take a lot of pride in what I do, and though I enjoy full stack development, I love front-end development because it is easy to show off. I have just over three years of experience (it is April 2019 as I am writing this) working with TypeScript, RXJS Operators, Webpack, Lodash, and more of the sort. Before then, I had just over four years (professionally, starting in 2012) working with vanilla JavaScript, and enjoyed making stunning visualizations with Canvas or SVG either from scratch, through D3, Three.js, Chart.js, or Babylon. I also enjoy board sports (skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, etc., all of them), hiking, playing guitar, gardening, and drinking craft beer. I am not good at ping pong.
