Firefighter/EMT I am an instructor for Department's water rescue program and an instructor for the department's on-going EMS skills training and certification process. I'm also a member of our PEER Support Team, which helps FFs cope with stress and trauma and a member of our department's technical rescue teams (trench, rope and confined space). Podcast Host I am the founder and host of the podcast, The Bravest Kind, which seeks to amplify and share first hand stories of fearless individuals. I’ve been honored to serve among brave individuals as a firefighter, and this past year has illuminated for me the importance of the work we all do to serve others in our everyday lives. Public Speaker My work as a speaker most recently includes expert commentary on hit television show "First Responders LIVE" on FOX produced by Dick Wolf. Extensive experience public speaking in finance and banking industry. I am a former faculty member of the Colorado Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Entrepreneur I have started multiple successful businesses including an outdoor fitness bootcamp and a CrossFit gym located in Seattle called South Seattle CrossFit.
