I am currently working as a first year Staff Accountant at KPMG Canada at the Calgary office. I have completed a BBA in Accounting at Mount Royal University and have been named on the President’s honour role. I have had the opportunity to work an 8-month Co-op term in a finance and accounting role in the energy industry, as well as two summer intern positions as a Staff Accountant. Through these opportunities, I have learned and further developed many valuable skills, such as teamwork, communication, audit, data analytics, and Microsoft Excel. These opportunities have provided me with an amazing foundation to begin my career. I intend to pursue a CPA designation in the near future.
