My grandfather always taught me: “Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools.” If I have a personal mantra, that is it. Born and raised in Bangladesh, my family and the education I received there have had a tremendous influence on my professional and personal life. Self-reliance and a strong dose of can-do spirit gave me the confidence to become an entrepreneur at the age of 17; conceiving and building a variety of businesses overtime from the ground up. While the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh, provided me with the raw material to become a business leader, it was my time at Greater Iowa Credit Union that allowed me to sharpen my professional skills. Along the way I’ve developed a strong commitment to excellence, service and finding creative solutions to complex strategic challenges. I am passionate about creating an environment in which these can be achieved. Many are surprised about the passion I have for the credit union industry. For me it’s pretty simple: Credit unions know their members. This comes from a long-standing tradition of over-and-above service and the building of personal relationships whenever possible. The notion of people helping people has been a staple in my life, not only because of the help I’ve received along the way but for the impact helping others has on our business, our relationships and our world. Today, I'm privileged to help credit unions discover new possibilities for exceptional member experiences through the mastery of exponential technology and data analytics.
