Started my career 20 years ago in IT and learned from scratch. Deep experience and knowledge of how to operate successfully in fast-paced environments, in which you can't succeed without teamwork and hands on mentality. Excited about business opportunities enabled by technology and passionate about putting people in the centre of all activities. I'm very familiar with the development of a comprehensive digital strategy and its implementation in terms of a digital Transformation. Over the last few years, as Managing Director of a technology company and CIO, I have developed IT from a small department into an independent IT Company with over 50 employees organized in efficient agile structures, that nevertheless operates in harmony with the entire group. In doing so, I was responsible for the business results as well as the commercial management (finance, HR, legal, communications). Beyond that, I was responsible for the operation and further development of the entire value chain of all digitally based business models and processes. In addition to the eCommerce Shop, this also included several partner portals and mobile apps. Also the classical operation of the core IT and the further development of the entire infrastructure of the enterprise group with their server and application systems fell into my area of ​​responsibility. One of the first global SAP HANA implementations to optimize Big Data Management analysis and control, as well as build a state-of-the-art microservice architecture for fast and efficient mapping of highly scalable digital business models, is an example here. Digital business models and technology are part of my DNA, which I follow with great passion.
