Salie Olson

My name is Salie Olson and I recently graduated from the MLIS/SLMS program at St. Catherine University of Minnesota, located in St. Paul, Minnesota. I would like to work with middle or high school students as a school librarian, but am open to all possibilities. In the meantime, I work at the Science Museum of Minnesota, where I am currently in charge of updating and maintaining our book collections for sale in the Explore Store. I have spent some time in schools tutoring through St. Catherine University as well, and was an educator/tour guide at a colonial farm in Maryland for a year. I also like to meet authors, and have been fortunate to meet a few, including Gene Luen Yang and Jacqueline Woodson. During my spare time at the St. Catherine University Minneapolis Campus Library, I also created stories for our library cat, Finnius.
