Sally Caughey

As Capgemini UK’s Lead for Digital Inclusion, I’m passionate about bringing the expertise and skills of our team to help everyone benefit from the digital revolution. I have responsibility for NGO partnerships and social impact programmes. These include Capgemini’s long-term partnership with The Prince’s Trust and our award-winning digital academies, run in partnership with CodeYourFuture to open doors to technology careers for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. I also work with Digital Unite to help address digital exclusion in communities by enabling Capgemini employees to use their capabilities and time for positive social impact. I believe that collaborating to join the dots will help close the digital divide faster and more effectively. As an ambassador for the Digital Poverty Alliance, I actively seek out opportunities for Capgemini to contribute to ground-breaking digital upskilling initiatives such as their Tech For Prison Leavers pilot. As a business, Capgemini is committed to building a sustainable and inclusive future, bridging the digital divide to ensure technology is an opportunity for everyone. In line with this, and in support of the UK Government’s commitment to derive social value through procurement, I also work to develop further impactful collaborations with both the not-for-profit sector and our supply chain partners through our client contracts.
