Sam Crisler

I’m Sam, a writer who can handle just about anything — from press releases to album reviews to newsbreaking feature stories. Writing has been my wheelhouse since high school, and I’ve got bylines with Nebraska publications Hear Nebraska, The Omaha Reader, The Waverly News, the Lincoln Journal Star and more. In the past few years, I’ve gained experience in other areas, too, like photography, radio and in the direction I’m looking to push my career: concert booking and promotion. I booked dozens of DIY shows before COVID, but in 2022, I’ve booked several national acts — independently and in my role with the Lincoln Calling Music and Arts Festival. I’m excited to continue a deeper dive into the live music world. I’m a versatile creator and doer, and I’m quick to figure out how I can be a benefit to big projects. My DM’s are open.
