I am a dedicated professional with over 11 years of experience as a police officer and over a year of working in logistics with UPS.I pride myself on having strong communication skills, an ability to work to short deadlines and being able to stay calm under pressure. I also have an exceptional ability to follow standards for safety and security. I am competent with detailed documentation and have a friendly, efficient, customer-focused demeanour.My time as a police officer has provided me with vast and varied experiences. Now that I have worked and gained experience in logistics with UPS I feel that I am ready to take on further responsibilities and progress within logistics and security. I have been trained in various areas of policing and have honed these skills over the last 12 years by constantly training and developing what I have been taught.I have progressed quickly in the short time that I have worked with UPS and am thought of highly as a hard worker and someone that can be relied upon to get work done and assist in other areas to fulfil the needs of the company on a regular basis.I have developed the ability to effectively communicate with people from all socioeconomic, religious andcultural backgrounds. I've used my interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service, and on occasion, when necessary, to defuse uncomfortable or dangerous situations.On several occasions, I've been called upon to respond to serious on going crime, disorder and medical emergencies. I am extremely competent and capable with technology and will take it upon myself to quickly learn any computer skills I need to perform tasks at the highest level.
