Sam Haber, PG

Mr. Haber has over nine years experience in the environmental consulting field serving as a geologist for AECOM’s Georemediation Division. He has gained experience working with private and public sector clients. Project specific experience includes proposal and cost estimate preparation, field operations and budget management, report preparation and review, stakeholder engagement, permitting, and client development. His field work experience includes logging borings, collecting soil samples, hand augering, operation and maintenance (O&M) of various remediation systems, groundwater and vapor sampling, dual-phase extraction and aquifer tests, chemical oxidation injection, air sparge and ozone feasibility testing, large scale soil excavation, and storm water sampling. Over the past several years, Mr. Haber has been managing retail projects and delegating field and office tasks to other employees in order to review reports, communicate with the client, and approve and process budgets and invoices. The majority of his work involves environmental investigations at retail gas stations. Mr. Haber has the experience to manage almost any environmental task and project associated with retail gas stations, car dealerships, and automotive service stations. Prior to joining URS Mr. Haber completed a Masters Degree studying isotopes as geochronometers to determine groundwater age and flow direction within the aquifers adjacent to the Colorado River.
