I live what I do. I help craft unique, bespoke and high-quality timber buildings and other things made mostly from wood. I generally work as part of a small, tight-knit team who operate in a collaborative and egalitarian manner. Born on a nature reserve to ecologist parents; raised in a native tree nursery; brought up in an ecological timber building company: I now live and work in a forest. And so I grew up to be a timber craftsman, who aspires to make things from trees, as sustainably as possible. I also work part-time on running and developing our new family business, Ecotone Cabins. At Ecotone we offer stand-out self-catering accomodation that focuses on conducting regenerative and positive impact tourism that benefits our community and our environment.
