I work on the Copernicus Climate Change Service at ECMWF; setting up the SIS - The Sectoral Information System (akin to developing demonstrator climate services) to provide relevant climate information to various sectoral users, including biodiversity, agriculture and forestry, coastal areas, fisheries..... And institution users. Past employment included subject matter expert on Earth observation and Remote Sensing, focusing on technical bid management, project management and business development activities across agriculture, insurance and hazard management. Experience in establishing partnerships with users, organisations and government; leading projects and portfolios of contracts within EU programmes. I have an Earth Observation background; previously research satellite remote sensing of vegetation condition and it's role in the carbon cycle, vegetation phenology, health and ecosystem productivity. In my spare time I co-funded and founded Almond & Co., a plastic free grocery store in Bournemouth, UK, with a focus on plastic free - package free, sustainable shopping (www.almondandco.co.uk)
