Samuel Robson

I joined the AECOM Leeds office in September 2015 as a graduate engineer in the transport department. During my time in the transport team I primarily focused on micro-simulation modelling, identifying potential traffic network issues and producing solution options. In 2016 I moved departments to work within the water team, where my interests were more suited. Over the last 2 years in the water team I have gained experience in drainage design, SuDS design and flood alleviation design. I have worked on projects from concept stage and option appraisal to detailed design. I am currently a graduate member of the ICE. In September 2018 I was promoted to 'Engineer', which reflects my position in the company and my level of knowledge and experience. I have experience in a range of software packages including ProjectWise, Autodesk CAD, Autodesk CIVIL3D, MicroDrainage and MicroStation. I have used Civil 3D to complete detailed design of drainage systems and utilised the software to produce construction drawings.
