A Software Engineer by destiny and a UI Developer by heart. When I first printed a simple text on a webpage, since HTML & CSS are forgiving even while making a ton of errors, it just rendered the output. This made me fall in love with frontend development. When I started as a developer in freshworks website team, my daily tasks would revolve around crafting pixel perfect web interfaces from the design mock while maintaining SEO best practices and then deploying. Started to provide optimizations like improving development environment build times(in middleman), boosted deployment speed to 20x times by moving from Travis & AWS S3 to AWS EC2 & Nginx. When I started as the frontend engineer in a Freshdesk product team, that was the first time I got to work in a large codebase. During which I learned the importance of code quality, maintenance, performance and testing frameworks. Loved exploring ASTs and writing codemods for doing migration from Mocha to Qunit. I was privileged to receive “Freshdesk - Innovation award Q4 2019”. In my spare time, I get immersed into binge watching documentaries or science videos in youtube channels like Kurzgesagt, CrashCourse, etc.. When I am not close to my laptop, you can find me in the gym, pumping iron. On weekends you can find me in church either singing bass or sleeping during sermons.
