About
I am passionate about making advances in drinking water quality and treatment through applied research and about communicating the world of drinking water to all audiences in a relatable and understandable way. I believe that communication and outreach are just as essential to delivering safe drinking water and protecting public health as treatment optimization and improvement - the latter ensures the quality of the water and the former enables people to trust that water, feel more secure, and make more informed decisions. My current areas of research interest are PFAS, biofiltration, nitrification, softening, and implementing data science tools for water utility data.
