About

The world (and people) are ever-changing- which is why we need more adaptable, empathetic, and inquisitive social care workers. It is a goal of mine to embody of each of those adjectives every day and to continuously work towards providing a holistic approach to social care. In December of 2017 I received a BS in Human Services with a speciality in Case Management from Kennesaw State University (Atlanta Metro Area, Georgia, United States). During my time at KSU I interned for LiveSafe Resources, Inc. For a year as a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate under their Head Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and I interned for City of Refuge for six months as Case Manager in their transitional home for women. After completing my undergraduate degree I decided I would like to continue on in education, but wanted a change of scenery so I decided to apply for a masters program in Ireland. I graduated in December of 2019 from University College Dublin with a MSc in Equality Studies and have since been working as an Employment Advisor for Seetec Ireland. I am actively committed to deconstructing systems of oppression, advocating for equality, and the alleviation of hardship for all.
