My career path has taken a natural progression over the years into production & supplier chain management where I have been fortunate enough to have gained experience working over a variety of different products. The base of all of my roles has been the management of stock, liaising with internal & external global suppliers, monitoring logistics for each sales territory, updating ERP/SAP systems & inventory reporting, organising warehousing & fulfilment, raising PO's for RM & bulk goods, and more - all skills needed to ensure the operational processes are streamlined so that the final product is cost efficient, made within a timely manner and manufactured to a high standard. Working for a smaller start-up’s at the beginning of my career has really offered me invaluable exposure to how a business is set up and how each department impacts each other. It also gave me the ability to fuel my understanding of how vital good leadership, proactive decisions and clear communication is key to any successful business – all which are skills that I take with me to each new role.
