I have been treating patients for the past 17 years. I have a love for working and helping others to stay mobile and engage in their environment. For the past 2 years, I took that love in a different direction and "cared for" residents in a new way. I have come to realize that I missed "treating"! The hands on, one on one contact that I am trained to give to help someone stand, walk, or interact in their daily lives. While i have learned so much and completely enjoyed the path I've been on for the past few years, it is time for me to refocus, knowing what I have learned can be applied to practicing and help in making me a stronger therapist for my future patients.
