Senior environmental consultant with over 17 years’ experience within the environmental, sustainability and management areas. With more than a decade of experience in environmental consultancy working on various projects at strategic and project levels, I bring broad experience on a variety of environmental related projects from planning, compliance and management, risk and impact identification and mitigation, performance monitoring and auditing, through to strategy development merger and acquisition due diligence assessments. My technical experience covers the entire project life cycle, with over 300 projects undertaken throughout my professional life. This includes small to large projects within the following areas: • pre-acquisition/pre-divestiture environmental and EHS due diligence assessment • Equator Principles (EP)/IFC and World Bank compliant independent environmental and social review, • Audits – compliance, lender banks, IFC and EP • Planning and undertaking environmental assessments including EIA, HSEIA, ESIA in compliance with World Bank/IFC and local regulations • Environmental permitting • Developing environmental management plans - CEMP, OEMP, Environmental and Social Management Plan and Environmental and Social Management System in compliance with IFC and EP • EHS regulatory review and compliance assurance, with strong focus in the Middle East countries • Soil and groundwater assessment and environmental management of contaminated sites • On-site performance & assurance support. These services have been delivered into an extremely wide range of sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, financial institutions, infrastructure, energy, power, mining, transportation, and across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kurdistan, Lebanon, India and USA. My clients included small to known blue chip companies , including Saudi Aramco, Halliburton, Chevron, JPMorgan, Citigroup, General Motor, Pfizer among others.
