As Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Value Based Care (VBC) and Ambulatory Quality I am responsible for oversight of ambulatory quality, utilization management and total cost of care for value-based contracts across the Puget Sound. I work closely with system & regional leadership to create and executive key strategic initiatives to meet the targets of value-based contracts and risk-based arrangements. I assure safe and reliable processes are embedded into the delivery of health care, and work toward developing a culture which values patient safety, clinical excellence, evidence-based medicine, and continuous learning. I manage care management and care coordination programs, working to prevent adverse events, achieve high reliable processes, and outstanding clinical outcomes and actively collaborate with system leaders on new, Medicare focused clinics & innovative solutions across the continuum of care.
