I'm an Electrical and Systems engineer with over sixteen years of work experience. My primary expertise is in integration, troubleshooting/debugging, calibration/alignment, and simulation of large-scale phased array radars. Integration of cutting edge prototype and production radar systems requires a broad yet detailed understanding of the underlying hardware, firmware, and software interfaces which comprise the system. I have the ability to work fluidly between analog and digital domains required for discovering and resolving design, manufacturing, assembly, and production issues. I have spent substantial time working hands on with prototype and deployed radars including domestic travel to on site locations for extended periods of support. I have spent the last few years designing and implementing the alignment and calibration methods required to maintain deployed radars. I'm currently an advisor to several radar programs, assisting them in the preliminary and production designs of their hardware and software systems. This support enables them to achieve and maintain stringent system performance requirements. My work requires an understanding of both analog and digital signal processing techniques. I validate digital and analog hardware designs designs via software simulations. I am experienced in improving system validation test and analysis methods. This includes creating automated test tools as well as writing custom radar control software.
